Back at Madeline's house, Mack is tracking Omar's car on his laptop. He explains to Madeline that "Your boy and Sam got a peculiar way of doing things. Sam thought it's be best if I kept a watch on things from here." Madeline snatches that opening to ask what happened between them, and Mack says politely that it's not her business. Less politely, she slams the laptop closed and says she's making it her business. "He's my son's best friend. And come to think about it, he's mine, too." Yes, after Michael made her nuke her other best friend last week. She says Sam isn't himself, "with the drinking." Mack chuckles that Sam always liked his beer. "He's not drinking is what I'm saying," Madeline says. That is indeed a red flag large enough to make several of "Louis's" shirts. Mack starts spilling: "You know he was married?" he asks. Madeline quickly goes from surprise at that news to, "You screwed around with his wife?" He claims it wasn't that simple. "Never is," Madeline agrees. Except it is. It's Burn Notice.
