Sarah and Chuck enter their hotel room, where he shows her he only got one bed, which might have been presumptuous. She says that's fine, since he can't be out of her sight while they're on the lam. She's going to shower, though, and Chuck makes a cute joke about how that probably doesn't apply now. While she's in there, we get to go outside the hotel, where The Mummy is on lookout. He's talking to Roark on the phone, who tells him not to kill them yet, as he might need them for leverage. But, after he no longer needs them, he's okay with The Mummy doing whatever he wants to them, adding, "You can even eat 'em if you want to." I'm loving how Chevy Chase is delighting in this evil role.

Back in the room, Sarah comes out of the bathroom in her underwear and a teeny, tiny shirt. Because they didn't have time to pack or anything, duh. Chuck volunteers to sleep on the floor, but she tells him it's okay. He turns off the TV and asks why she's doing this. She says the floor's gross and she's not going to let him sleep on it. But then she answers the question he's really asking: It's her job to protect him, and after all he's done for the country, he deserves to get the Intersect out of his head, find his father, and have a normal life. He asks what happens when it's not her job anymore (uh, isn't it kind of already not, since General Redhead ended the mission, and then they went AWOL?). He asks what happens to them then? Sarah dodges the question, just saying, "One mission at a time." She turns off the light, but neither of them falls asleep. Back at his apartment, Casey readies his weapons as Chuck's phone location is verified. Casey says "Gotcha!" and shoots at a Chuck target. Cute.

Buster, who is more annoying than ever as he moves into his new office, tells Morgan that in their line of work they can't really afford friends. Morgan says Big Mike is his friend, so Buster asks if all of his friends give his mother urinary tract infections. Buster offers Morgan a job as assistant manager, asking, "Will you be my ass man?" Morgan says no, and he also doesn't need a friend, because Chuck is all he needs."

Meanwhile, back at the hotel, the next morning, Chuck and Sarah are getting snuggly in their sleep. Chuck wakes up and realizes Sarah's rubbing his hand. She wakes up, too, and turns toward him. They totally start making out. FINALLY. These two have such chemistry that I really feel like they've been waiting forever for this. Then Chuck tells Sarah not to move and runs into the bathroom. He opens his wallet and finds a note that says, "IOU one condom. Your pal, Morgan." Chuck's going to kill Morgan.
