At dinner, Gary Cole is sharing his and Sarah's conning stories from her youth. He tells Chuck people would actually think her arm was broken, and she's like, "Because it was." But only that one time, Sarah. Don't complain about it! Gary Cole tells her that no kid had as much fun as she did, which is probably true, actually. Because Sarah's not asking Gary Cole the stuff Agent Redhead wanted her too, Chuck starts in, asking what Gary Cole's latest score is from Dubai. Gary Cole wonders if it's okay to talk to Chuck, and Sarah tells him to trust her. He says, "Always, darling. Never forget that." Then he tells them how he got the money from the sheik. He pulled a Lichtenstein. That's an invention of Gary Cole's in which he uses this fake billionaire character, Lichtenstein, to sell things, like art, jewelry, a boat, etc. Gary Cole tells her this time it's that skyscraper behind them: Nagamichi Plaza (I thought it was Nakamichi, but I'm trusting my captions on this one). Sarah tells him this is really dangerous, but Gary Cole tells her to relax, because the $700,000 was just a finder's fee for putting the sheik in touch with Lichtenstein, and he'll be long gone by the time they know what happened.
Chuck and Sarah are walking arm in arm in Gary Cole's hotel lobby discussing whether Gary Cole bought them as a couple. Chuck suggests amping up the PDA to really sell it. They walk by a group of men in suits and Chuck flashes on one, who is apparently the sheik. Uh-oh. I don't think Gary Cole's going to make it far away after all. Chuck asks Sarah what she thinks the sheik wants, and Sarah's like, "Duh! Lichtenstein." And she tells him to stay there and goes to help her dad, who's trying to convince the sheik to meet up with him and Lichtenstein the next day. The sheik says Gary Cole must think he's an idiot, and he'd like his money back. Gary Cole says that's fine, but if that's the case the deal's off. Sarah walks up then and her dad introduces her as Mr. Lichtenstein's personal secretary, Ms. Applebaum. She tells the sheik that Mr. Lichtenstein has been expecting him, and suggests the next day at 2. The sheik says now sounds better and one of his henchmen puts a gun to Sarah. She and her dad are both quiet and the sheik's like, "I thought so. There's no Lichtenstein." Just then, a hotel employee comes by saying, "Mr. Lichtenstein?" Everyone -- Sarah, her dad, the sheik -- looks puzzled. The hotel employee asks if there's a Mr. Lichtenstein here, and Chuck says, "Yeah." The employee gives him a message. ["How very Abe Froeman, Sausage King of Chicago. Love the random Ferris Bueller references!" -- Angel] The sheik walks over to him, and Gary Cole introduces him as Hans Lichtenstein. Sarah tells them that Mr. Lichtenstein only speaks German, but he'll meet them tomorrow at 2 p.m. at his office. The sheik agrees but says that if he doesn't get what he wants, Lichtenstein's a dead man. He leaves. Gary Cole says he knew they were cons, too. Which, sort of, I guess.
