Awesome's rounding up Santa and the elves (Big Mike, Morgan, Lester, and Jeff) again to try to get them to take Ned out at last. Awesome says Ned's tired so it's time to make their move. He asks if anyone else played ball in college. Big Mike says he played linebacker. Lester: "I did not." Morgan says he played a lot of Madden on his PlayStation 3. Awesome tells Morgan to be bold. Awesome tells them the plan, which is called "the picket fence," which consists of Big Mike and Awesome as the flanks, Morgan as the sacrificial lamb, and Jeff and Lester coming up from behind. Lester thinks that seems awkward. Chuck comes up and asks what they're doing, and Awesome explains and asks if Chuck's in. Chuck says it's way too dangerous. Then he says, "Please, Devon. If you love Ellie, don't do this." Awesome tells Chuck he wins. Mauser calls Chuck over, and Chuck tells Awesome, "Remember, don't be Awesome."

Mauser tells Chuck he and Ned worked it all out. Chuck thinks this is great that they can leave, but Mauser says first he and Chuck have to work something out. He tells him that Fulcrum knows John Casey's NSA, and Chuck's face falls. In the OOSSL, Casey and Sarah are finally realizing that person who Ned called is in the Buy More now. Back in the Buy More, Mauser goes on that they know Sarah's CIA. In the OOSSL, Casey and Sarah see Mauser's picture and start to panic. In the Buy More, Mauser says they've lost enough agents to these two, and that Fulcrum knew they were here protecting someone but didn't know who. But with Ned's help, they found out Chuck's the one they rushed to protect. Chuck says he has no idea what he's talking about. Mauser asks if Chuck sees Ned. Chuck turns and sees Ned standing by Anna and Ellie with a gun. Mauser says he'd hate to have Ned kill Chuck's "pretty little sister over there" if Chuck doesn't cooperate with Mauser. Chuck tells Mauser he's just an analyst, but Mauser says they did their research and found out Chuck was college roommates with Bryce Larkin, he of infiltrating Fulcrum and stealing the Intersect. Chuck says Bryce is dead and Mauser motions at Ned to shoot Ellie. Chuck asks him to stop, and he does. Chuck asks what Mauser wants and he says he wants to find Bryce and the Intersect, and wants Chuck's full cooperation or Ellie dies. He asks where Bryce Larkin is, and Chuck says he doesn't know, but that he does know where the Intersect is. Mauser asks where and Chuck looks at Ellie and then points at his own brain.
