The limo door opens in the present day, and a very cute, miscast Ever Carradine gets in. She's Kelly Ludlow, Communications Director to the Vice-President. Greetings and explanations ensue, and Mac finishes up, "I need you to write a resignation speech." Kelly, confused, asks if Bridges wouldn't want his own staff to write it. Mac explains, resignedly, "It's not for him. It's for me. The Oval Office should now be held by someone who shares the vision of President Bridges." Vince explodes indignantly: "As in Nathan Templeton? Come on. The guy makes Genghis Khan look like Mahatma Gandhi." Mac cuts him off, they back and forth and she ends the discussion: "Just take out your pen and write."
