Meanwhile, at an unmarked factory location -- if we're going by clues for geography, Calleigh's hair indicates the Rhineland -- and Sevilla fills us in: they found Medina's truck, but no Medina. Sevilla, Calleigh, and Megan walk with a foreman, pumping him for clues as to the last time anyone saw Señor Medina. The foreman replies, "Well, he hasn't been to work since, I guess, since the end of last week." Megan asks, "You mean, he's not away on business?" This amuses the foreman: "Only business he's got is in a smelly sewer." Everyone sets to examining the apparently abandoned Medina truck. Calleigh finds a pipe wrench covered in blood at about the same time Megan begins crowing over the dried blood she's found on the steering wheel, as well as a hair that got glued to the wheel. As the two compare evidence, they notice a rifle rack on the back of the truck cab. Sevilla asks, "Mr. Jones, is this any reason why Emilio Medina would carry a rifle?" Jones replies, "You ever see a gator coming toward you in a sewer? Hell, you don't talk to the sumbitch, you shoot it." That goes a long way toward explaining the Medinas' decor. Sevilla steers Jones off for further questioning, leaving Calleigh to ask, "So where's Emilio Medina and his rifle?"
