Carrie Ann thinks the dancing looks like it comes naturally to Nicole, even though she has to work hard. Len didn't see a lot of cha cha cha in the solo either, but he thinks Nicole needs to be in the finals. Bruno calls her "the sexylicious purple queen of the cha cha cha." Scores: Carrie Ann 10, Len 9, and Bruno 10. The audience boos Len's score, but come on. It's only fair.

Chad and Cheryl are back for their Latin round. Chad was a big baby, and super cute. He grew up in a rough area, but he used the negativity as motivation. He was raised by his grandmother, and he knew sports was going to be his way out, because he knew it wasn't going to be academics. It took him a while to get to the NFL, but he got there. And now he has four kids, and he takes them wherever he goes. Which is great stability for the kids. I'm just saying. Chad's friends think that he was shocked by how hard it was to be on the show, but he put in the work, and now he's in the semifinals. I kind of love his grandmother. Anyway, they are doing the samba. It's a little herky-jerky to me, but probably the most traditional content of any of the Latin dances so far. He seems self-conscious during his solo (which is done shirtless). You'd think someone with such a big ego would love the chance to show off his moves.

Len wonders why the men need to go shirtless in the samba, but he thinks Chad did a great job with a tough dance. Bruno is torn between admiration and envy of Chad's body, and he thinks Chad nailed the dance's attitude. Carrie Ann says that the technique wasn't quite there, but Chad started lower than the others so it's to be expected, and his charisma makes up for it. Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 8, and Bruno 9. Hmm. I thought it was a little better than that, especially given the judges' comments.

The final couple is Evan and Anna. Evan grew up in Naperville, and started skating when he was eight. His mom says that he's driven and detail-oriented. He had a growth spurt at fourteen and wanted to quit skating, but his mom convinced him to stick with it and work hard. Even his coach says that his gold medal is due to hard work more than innate talent. So they are doing a Twilight-themed paso doble, which is probably very appealing to his fan base, but I think it's kind of a bunch of horseshit. I'm not sure what to make of this paso. On the one hand, it's very traditional, which I appreciate, and it's interesting to watch. On the other hand, they seem like they are fighting each other, and not in a good way. Evan's solo is great, but he seems kind of wild and out of control. It end with him "biting" Anna on the neck and leaving her for dead.
