Lance and Lacey are up second. In the clip package, we're reminded that Lance pulled through last week when Brooke faltered, even completing a routine with one shoe. In rehearsal, Lacey is proud of Lance's newfound confidence, and she thinks he can win it. Lance thinks their momentum will pull through him to win it. Lacey even asks Lance to teach her some moves, and Lance is excited to do some hip hop moves. They aren't doing any lifts, because that's really not hip hop, but Lance does plan to throw some "Bye Bye Bye" moves in there as a shoutout to Joey Fatone. "It's Tricky" starts playing as Lance and Lacey begin their routine. Lacey is a really amazing hip hop dancer. She is by far the best female hip hop dancer on the show. By far. She's better than most of the men, too. It just looks natural. I'm not crazy about the routine, though. There's just not much content and either the music is too fast or Lance is kind of sloppy with some of the moves because if I didn't know it was coming, I wouldn't have noticed the little "Bye Bye Bye" move. They do a few bars of cha cha and then finish with Lance pulling off his shoe and tossing it up to Lacey, which is super corny. Then again, this show is super-corny, so I guess it fits. They also get a standing ovation from the audience. Carrie Ann loved the beginning and the end, but she thought the section where they did the cha cha was weird. Len loves the song, and he liked that they had fun. He even liked the cha cha section. Bruno thought it was youthful, vibrant, and exciting. He likes their creativity and wit. Samantha asks Lance what's at stake, and why he wants to win. Lance wants to win so he can rub it in with Joey Fatone, who came in second. Lance says he's learned a lot from Lacey, too. Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 9 and Bruno 9.
