Warren and Kym are the last to go. Last week, Warren didn't pull off technique, but the crowd still loved him. Warren knows he needs to be perfect to win this thing. In rehearsal, Kym works with Warren on lots of content and lots of lifts. Warren promises Kym that he won't drop her, and I kind of believe him. He would dive on the floor and cushion her fall if he had to, I think. Warren and Kym's freestyle is to the Tina and Ike version of "Proud Mary," so it starts slow with an almost rumba feel. Then the fast part kicks in and Warren and Kym rip off their outfits to reveal silver lamé underneath. Kym's costume is just falling apart, and they put in lots of Tina Turner stage moves and lots of opportunities for Warren to engage the crowd. And lots of lifts. It seems short, and I actually liked the slow beginning part AND the fast ending part. The technique was terrible, but it was a lot of fun, so it pretty much fits Warren's entire season. Len thinks that Warren is this season's star out of the blue, and he may not be a dancer, but he's an unparalleled entertainer. Bruno thinks resisting Warren is futile. Carrie Ann says that was her favorite freestyle, because they know how to pull the audience in. She points out that Warren made a mistake and he made a face that gave it away. Backstage, Samantha lets Warren state his case. Warren says that it would be a great accomplishment, but he's also got a friend for life and has learned a lot. Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 10 (for entertainment) and Bruno 9. Warren is thrilled to get a 10 from Len. Tom holds up a tiny piece that fell off Kym's costume and says that it would be an entire costume for Edyta. Big laughs from the audience.
