Back in the "hood," TNT is stunned to see that it's changed from a barbershop-and-whorehouse kind of neighborhood to a coffee-shop-and-art-gallery upscale yuppie shopping area. Sigh. Why can't we live in a world that accommodates whorehouses and coffee shops? People! We have to learn to live together, hookers and barbers and caffeine junkies and art collector scum, all of us together! I beseech you. Scotty drags TNT into a coffee place, and TNT notices that the coffee slinger has a giant tattoo of a cockroach on his forearm. "Cockroach!" The man, small, in a brown shirt, bolts. In a gritty, hand-held long shot, Scotty follows Cockroach out the back door, through the parking lot, and to the dumpster. Cockroach holds up a bag of trash, and wham, Scotty tackles him. They roll around in the trash bags for a while (very "Sabotage" video) until Cockroach screams, "I'm clean, I'm clean!" TNT says to ask then why was he running. Scotty barks, why were you running, punk! He got scared when he heard his old name. But he did his time, cleaned up, and went legit. He saw how the old neighborhood had changed and went to Coffee School, where he graduated "Magna Cum Latte." Oh, GROAN, groan -- writers, you were doing so well. Now, I hate you. Cockroach delivered the line perfectly, though. TNT says to "put his head in a trash can and bang it around," but Scotty instead asks threateningly what kind of milk makes the best foam. "Skim milk! The lower the fat content the better the foam." So it's true. Cockroach is legit. Good to see he's putting that degree to good use. I only wish Cremora you with degrees out there would do the same. Oh, God, I'm sorry. I chai and I chai to make a good joke, and see what happens? I go and mocha it all up. Oh, Folger's. Anyway, they walk back towards the coffee shop, and Scotty peppers Cockroach with questions. What does he know about Ramirez? How does a kid like Scotty know about Ramirez? His "Uncle T-Bone told him." "You're talking about TNT?" "Ka-BOOM."
