Murphy Brown graphic tells us that Wallace is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, except it omits the necessary punctuation. Beth drove; she complains, and Wallace cops to not having a license, so he's basically using her for the wheels. A scruffy old man catches their eye and Wallace asks if he knows the Jacksons. "Know their music. Don't know why they're such freaks," the man replies. This entire scene was written to make that joke, and this actor totally called his mother and told her to tape it and send copies to all the college pals who said he was never funny. We also learn Chantal has an evil brother named Tyrell and a good brother who's a doctor. Meanwhile, Wallace has six hundred messages at the office that aren't getting answered because he never bothers to show up there.
Louis Jackson, the Good Brother glowing white in his lab coat, chats with Wallace outside The Hospital. He shares that Chantal freaked after the trial because if she hadn't called in sick that day, she might have died too. Wallace hands over his mobile phone and asks Louis to call his sister, asking if she'd be willing to talk. The twit agrees, gets shot down by Chantal, then returns the phone and leaves, wishing Wallace luck. Big Benton pushes the redial button and connects to the catering company where Chantal works, tricking them into giving out the address. "You lie with such incredible ease," Beth marvels. "And it tortures me," Benton lies glibly.
