Will: "I'll call Hannah the second I'm done having this exact same conversation I had earlier. Thanks for the tip, Joanna."
Commishtable Donald: "Guess who I just got off the phone with."
Will: "Nate Silver? No homo, but that dude is adorable."
Donald: "No, Bud Selig? The Director of the FBI? He's golf buddies with Robert Bowers and he's pissed we're harassing..."
Will: "These one-percenters! They get away with anything! They buy the expensive tickets at Disneyland and just waltz right past ya!"
Gabe: "It's that darn Edward Bowers, see? Why I oughtta..."
Donald: "Oh my God, stop with the Edward Bowers all the time. We get it. Look, where are we at from before when we had this same meeting?"
Will: "Nowhere. We still don't know Vivian's whistle-blower or her babydaddy. But I have a lead on Robert's former assistant and mistress, a real horrible gal named Hannah."
Donald: "The stakes have never been higher! For some reason."
Will: "Hold on, I have to take this call and then run out of the room screaming."
Is ruling it an accidental overdose, which would shut down the whole FBI case, because it's a toss-up and he doesn't need the extra paperwork. The ME is very sassy, with some good lines in there.
Will: "But what about the ligature marks on her wrists, the...?"
ME, verbatim: "I'm not saying she didn't have a rough night, I'm saying there's no evidence to suggest that anything that happened to her was against her will."
Will: "The bruises on her chest? The EMTs said they didn't do CPR because of her extreme deadness."
ME, again verbatim: "Not everything is a homicide, FBI Guy."
Will: "Well, did you check her blood gas tests for being chemically subdued? Please do not put this on the books until you do that."
ME: "You are the worst. Stop making me do my job."
UPSTAIRS @ BOWERS RESIDENCE
Joanna: "You know, we can smell you smoking all the way downstairs. Here, let me help you rig up a filter so you can smoke in peace. It's what a big sister would do."
Mia: "Thanks for helping me out with my teenage rebellion. You can be kind of cool."
Joanna: "What's cool are these photographs you like to take. And these, your sister's same brand of cigarettes."
Mia: "My sister's pack of cigarettes. Which, since she was pregnant, have got to be several months old and totally foul."
Joanna: "Pregnant, you say? By whom?"
Mia: "Some guy named Ben, I only met him like one time. They were very much in love."
Joanna: "So you think she was murdered?"
Mia: "Actually yes. I remember one time we were getting stalked by a guy on a motorcycle and she pulled me into Barneys until they closed. It was awesome."
Joanna: "We both loved her. Let us bond."
Mia: "She was my best friend, basically. She pissed a lot of people off."
Joanna: "She always fought. If she didn't like the way the wind was blowing, then she changed it. I just made up that saying."
