Cut to Karl telling the doomed banner-flying couple that he wants a banner that says, "Will you marry me, Bree? Love Karl." The cranky wife thinks it's romantic, and complains (of course!) about her husband being cheap. She takes off and bitches about something, as Karl gives the simpering husband his card. Bet you saw that one coming, if you've ever seen this show. The words "divorce attorney" on Desperate Housewives almost always conjure Karl.
When Dylan gets out of a cab at Katherine's, Susan's waiting to pounce on her. Dylan doesn't want to talk to Susan, and even tells her to get over Mike, who's married to Katherine. Susan's like, "The hell?" Dylan tells Susan she can't believe she'd make a scene at Mike and Katherine's wedding, then hound them night and day, and now she stabs Katherine? Susan asks if that's what she told her, and says they need to talk. Inside, Susan shows a shocked Dylan her and Mike's wedding pictures. Dylan's puzzled, since her mom's been telling her all about her life with Mike. Susan says Katherine needs help, and so does Mike. Dylan asks what she wants her to do.
Mona tells Danny that his doctor's going to let her give her parents an early Christmas present, and let him go home early. She'll give him a ride home. [That seems... against hospital policy? Especially not having asked the parents. - Zach] In the car, she tells him she can't imagine how tough it is for them to live this way, always running and looking over their shoulders. Danny looks worried, and Mona says to relax, since his parents told her. She says she actually figured it out, and his mom just filled in the details. He wonders why she'd do that, and she says Angie seemed relieved to be able to talk about it. She tells him that he can trust her, too. Then he says that if Mona says anything, his mom will go to jail. She says it doesn't work that way, and Danny asks if she's kidding, what with how hardcore the Feds are on terrorist stuff since 9/11, even the old cases. He says, "If they find her, she's dead." Mona asks what he means. But, of course, we aren't privy to the rest of the conversation. Instead, we see Danny arrive home and tell Angie he screwed up and told Mona everything.
Angie finds Mona still sitting in her car, staring straight ahead. Angie thanks her and says she's sorry he dragged her into their family drama. She lies that Danny's so angry at her and Nick right now that he wants to hurt them, which explains the wild story he just told her. Mona doesn't say anything, then suddenly says she hates her job, dealing with disturbed people. She says she wants a new job, but knows she needs a year's worth of living expenses. She didn't know how she'd do it, but she tells Angie she wants $67,000 to cover her costs for a year, and then they'll all be free.
