Karl, standing outside, looks very sad and regretful (but pretty good for a man in nothing but boxers). MAVO: "We've all done something in our lives we're ashamed of." Too true, MAVO. Cut to Susan, who's leaning against the inside of her door and looking similarly sad. MAVO: "Some of us have fallen for the wrong man. Some have let go of the right woman." Back at the movies, Mike is still sitting with that same woman, only now he's got that "I miss that broken, needy Susan" look in his eye. MAVO: "There are those who have humiliated their parents": Parker, playing with his ill-advised acquisition of a puppy, holds her back legs wide, and takes a closer look at her works, and Lynette gives her son a worried doubletake. MAVO: "And those who have failed their children." Over to Gabby, who's looking down at baby Lily with the full burden of parenthood weighing down on her. MAVO: "Yes, we've all made mistakes that diminish us, and those we love." Justin and Andrew are happily, wholesomely playing cards at the table, and Bree walks in carrying an enormous, enormous, Solis-baby-sized pie. "But there is redemption if we try to learn from those mistakes. And grow." Aw. And...fade on Bree slicing up that swollen beast of a pie for her son and his beau. (You know what gay boys love? Pie.)
Up next: remember how last time I said that from here on in it was a straight shot to the finale? Well I lied. Next week is actually a clips show. But after that, you're in for a packed-solid Desperate May. Until then, then!
