At the station, Maria and Angel are returning from Ellen's crime scene. He tells her to get home and get some rest. She is still visibly shaken, but she's not going home. She says that she has to do something. Angel sees Quinn and Deb and asks, nay pleads for developments on The Skinner case. They don't have anything, but suddenly Miguel shows up and says that he wants to help. He asks if King has legal counsel -- he doesn't, because he knows they don't have anything on him. Well, he can't make any offers to King if the guy doesn't have counsel, and the tape of him talking to him could come back to haunt him. Angel says that - nudge -- the camera has been on the fritz - nudge -- and it wouldn't surprise him - nudge -- if it didn't pick up anything at all. Nudge. So, Miguel goes into the interview room. He walks to the camera and turns it off.

Dexter is at his apartment and digs up the Freebo shirt.

Miguel comes out of the interview room. That's it. King is free. Huh? I'm confused. Which is kind of exciting. Dexter enters the station as King is being led out. He VO's that he hopes they meet again, for he'd like to get to know him better. But, how much can you really know about a person, he thinks as he sees Miguel. Then, he goes into his office and tests the blood on the shirt.

Deb is wondering what else they can do. Quinn says that they've got Mario, but they would essentially have to skin him before he'd talk. Deb smiles like she's got an idea and Quinn clarifies -- they won't be skinning Mario. No, she's got a better idea. She says she needs her partner for this.

They drive Mario home. He gets out of the car to find that the trees in his yard have been trimmed. NOT THE TREES! He knows, for some reason, that they told King that Mario had been singing. She says she's sorry that she dragged his family into this and she'll do what she can to protect them. He says she won't be able to do anything, but she says she can't try unless he tells her where King is. He resists initially, but says that King has a building under the highway that he pays for in cash. She tells him to go inside and lock his doors and she'll call for a patrol car. She picks up Quinn in her car and they're on their way.

We see King walking along the highway, approaching a building. He's putting a key into the lock when a car starts speeding up. It's Deb and Quinn. King runs off, but Deb beats on the door. Quinn decides to "fuck restraint" and runs into the building with his car, knocking down the wall. They find Anton inside and he looks pretty bad. He says, "You found me." She says that he can't get away from her that easily. I, for one, and embarrassingly relieved that he's not dead.
