He did it. She was right. He's talking to someone about how she's alive. He realizes they're listening and tells Lumen that she's going to be found and killed. So, Dex breaks his neck. Dead guy. He VOs that Lumen was born in blood like him. Then, he runs off to clean up this whole shit show.
Deb has made it to the arena. They search for the body just like Lumen and Dex did, but with Masuka. Dex drives around and changes clothes, while insisting that Lumen wash down the shooting/neck breaking site. He's about to send Lumen on her way, when he sees Lance, who has broken free and is running away in the marina, towards Deb and Masuka. Dex catches him just in the nick of time (or too late?) and drags him back towards where the other dead guy is, strangling him in the process. Deb and Masuka walk up to the scene, just as Dexter walks out of the bunker where he was with Lumen.
So, they walk in and Lance is sprawled out next to the rapist with a gun next to his hand. I think that Lance was cast for his ass qualities. They are good. Deb wonders what the motherfuck just happened, but Masuka knows. It was "autoerotic mummification." Nice. He has this whole elaborate nasty thing that he thinks happens. When he's finished, Dexter says that he agrees with Masuka's theory. Deb is stunned.
Batista is with the pretty girl in Laguerta's office when she arrives. He explains that the pretty girl is wearing a Santa Muerte necklace and has a string of drug charges. She could let them know more about the people they're trying to find. Outside of her office, the two of them make up. Laguerta apologizes for looking after her own name too much.
So, Deb goes to Quinn's place and admonishes him for flirting with pretty girls all night, even if it was his "job." She tells him that she has feelings for him and he says he feels the same way about her. She asks him to let her know if this is all going to end badly, but instead he kisses her. This will end badly. I wish I was there to tell her. DEB. This will end badly. And bloodily, I'm sure.
