Now Jeremy's in with Simon, calling him a "creep wad" and saying Nola should have killed him. Nurse Crazy comes in and tells Jeremy to go ahead and kill him. She even tells him how, and shows him how to up the morphine drip. She starts doing it, and Jeremy freaks out and tells her to stop. She eventually stops and says that wasn't actually morphine, but harmless saline. She says she was joking, but she never laughs and barely smiles. She was trying to entertain Jeremy. Man, she's so hilarious she might have started her nursing career at the Second City or something. This is how they set up crushes and flirting on this show now, apparently: with totally weird and unfunny humor.
Patrick babbles to Krista at the Logan Gallery. She's impressed by how smart he is, and he credits growing up with money and surrounded by beautiful things. They're gushing, but Congressman Watley's watching ominously in the background. In Tripp's office, Tripp is filling Nick in on what sort of insider content Lisa's promising in her tell-all: details of Patrick's marriage and affair; Letitia's trial and her payment of money to Nick's mother; Karen and Simon. Tripp wants to get ahold of the Darling family P.R. team, but Nick would rather handle it himself since he'd like the book neutralized but doesn't want Lisa attacked. Tripp agrees to that. Then someone calls to tell Nick that Simon's awake. Back in Simon's faux hospital room, Simon dives back in to the flashback.
