Nick tells Brian to brace himself for the possibility that they might lose their case, and Brian tells Nick that he's "the worst," asking if he even went to law school. Nick, unamused, reminds Brian that he's the one who lied about the kid and everything about him since Day One, and that he's sorry he can't change reality. Brian, with characteristic candor, tells Nick, "Well then you suck," which is funny because he loves God so he's also wearing a nun's habit or whatever it's called when it's a boy. Nick says the only option left is for him to go see Andrea alone and try to reason with her, because the case is probably going to come down in her favor. Nick wishes him good luck and takes off. Say, weren't we supposed to be heading up to a country house at some point in this episode?

Nick arrives home to find Lisa packing Kiki's clothes. Is this kid on strike or in rehab, too? When did she become an invisi-child who existed in name only? Lisa tells Nick that she decided to drop Kiki off at her parents' and then come with Nick to the country house. Weren't we supposed to be heading up to a country house at...oh, we're here.

Music that sounds like it is trying to capture the playful elegance of rich people in the country plinks away in the background as a black car pulls up to an enormous country estate. Nick and Lisa get out of one car as Letitia and Karen come out to greet them. Karen whispers "Told you she'd come" and her mother whispers back "It'll be fine," as Lisa whispers "Told you she'd come" and Nick whispers, "It'll be fine." Heh. I buy it. Shortly behind them, Simon Elder pulls up. He shakes Letitia's hand and then goes over to meet Karen and the Georges as Patrick walks out to greet everyone as well. As Letitia says she's sure everyone must want a drink, Tripp appears on the front stoop wearing full hunting regalia and holding a shotgun. Can't wait for this gun from the first act to go off in the third. A quick cut later, Simon, Patrick and Nick accompany Tripp out, Simon asking what they will be hunting. Tripp responds, "Quail," and, as Simon and Patrick walk ahead, Nick keeps Tripp back and asks if he's planning on shooting Simon. Tripp responds with a smile and winks, "You know me better than that." But does he? DOES HE? And...credits. Not really.
