...and then Nick's with the brother in question, who's getting dressed and is enthusing about the party. Nick sits him down, though, and tells him he doesn't think Natalie's pregnant -- Astrid said she gave Natalie tampons last week at "Twinkle." Jeremy doesn't think Natalie would go there, but Nick's like, "Tampons! Hello!" and opines that Juliet isn't making this up, as she loves Jeremy. Jeremy scoffs that she loves herself. Nick: "She loves you too!" Hee. Peter Krause is so understatedly good in this role, I cannot even tell you. He counsels Jeremy to have Natalie take a pregnancy test, but Jeremy isn't up for that. After some consideration, he says he'll ask her to her face, and her answer will be good enough. It sounds great, but his "bitch BETTER give me the right answer" expression belies the noble sentiment.
Lisa and Nick have a mild, boring exchange about the fact that she took back the ants, and then he goes to his dinner with Elder as Kiki appears and asks if Lisa really returned it. One, stop overdramatically staring at the blank spot over the fireplace, everyone. Two, shut up, Kiki.
After a close-up on a shot of a chocolate aristocrat being decapitated in a guillotine (heh), Juliet arrives downstairs in full French aristocracy garb, and a couple of like-dressed friends of hers wish her happy birthday. When she gets into the middle of the party, everyone gives her a louder version of that sentiment, and then she sees Ryan Casdale, whom Juliet twitters that she personally invited. He comes over and smarmily greets them, even kissing her hand and calling her "Your Majesty," which is enough to get her virginal juices flowing. Indeed, when he's gone, she tells her friends that tonight, Ryan is her gift to herself. They, reasonably enough, think she means she's going to faire foutre, but no -- she's just going to make out with him, "which is just as important and equally dangerous." Given that herpes comes in oral form, I'm going to have to agree. And I'll give points for Juliet's exaggerated use of "dangerous" there, given the party theme, but would she really be that amped about following Natalie into Ryan's mouth? Aren't the two of them kind of vaguely creepily linked enough already?
