Brotherly Love

Jeremy finds Nola on the balcony and tells her the "good news" that she doesn't have to go through with all of this, but Nola (who has the one working brain in the relationship) says that this is still her only chance to get her brother back, so even if Simon's plan is off, hers is still on. Jeremy says that's fine, but he's coming with her. He's not going to let something bad happen to her. He says he's not saying she can't be Lara Croft, "just let me be your Terry Sheridan." They hug and as the camera pulls away, Nola says, "Who?" Which is exactly what I was thinking. Thank God for Google.

Back inside the party, Patrick finds Watley and tells him that his wife is a total skank and is coming on to him very strong. Watley's all, "Uh, yeah, I totally told her to do that, since you didn't like me." He figured that since he liked him, one of them might as well have a shot with him. This is his arrangement with his wife, since he's not really into women and all. Watley tells Patrick to use his hotel key, because he won't be sleeping there tonight. He looks at a waiter across the room, and walks off. Okay, that's gross and weird. But then again, it's this show, so not entirely unbelievable.

Nick finds Karen, who's crying. She tells him about Simon threatening her and then tries to walk off. Nick tries to stop her, but she says this isn't his problem, which he said himself. He reminds her that he also said he loves her. She stops walking away, and he says he wants to help. He's going to take care of this for her, by talking to Simon and letting him know that it's in his best interest to stay the hell away. Right. Because offering Simon advice always goes over so well.
