Above, Mickey and Jake hop around and make out and yell with glee, but Between: The Cybermen scream, and fall, and clutch at their heads, and roll around. One stares at his reflection in a shard of metal, and whimpers as he touches the face, and then the reflection. Face, reflection. "I'm sorry," says the Doctor. They were already dead. One of them falls to his knees, and explodes. His head explodes, in pain and horror at what he is. Lumic screams furiously: "What have you done?" The Doctor looks at him, full of light. "I gave them back their souls. They can see what you've done, Lumic. And it's killing them." And as the Doctor, Rose, and Pete run from the room, Lumic begins the cry again: "Delete! Delete! Delete!" There are fires all over the factory, and also lots of running about. "There's no way out!" and that kind of thing. Above, Jake and Mickey have a token fight about nothing, and Mickey's a "hero" by "convincing" Jake to turn the zeppelin back around and go pick up Rose and the Doctor and Peter. Well, it's not entirely stupid: Jake has a good point about how the zeppelin is full of flammable gas and so if the factory blows up, so will they, but whatever. They go back to the roof, and there's lots of exploding, and Mickey makes Jake hold his cell phone to his ear while he calls Rose. Which, I would dump his ass out the zeppelin. Mickey tells them to head for the roof. And then more running about. Lumic stands, ripping away the tubes that connect him to his chair, roaring and screaming and glowing.

Above. Rose reaches the roof and leaps up. Rose goggles: "Mickey, where'd you learn to fly that thing?" Playstation, he says: "Just hold on, Rose. I'm coming to get you." Explosions, running, jumping, Jake and Mickey fighting over the controls and trying to get the zeppelin lower, almost squishing the life out of the people they're saving, and then there's a rope ladder, always scintillating, and then the zeppelin rises up and away, with Rose and Pete and the Doctor dangling down, Rose cheering for them all. The rope ladder is suddenly jerked down, and Rose screams, and there at the bottom, there's Lumic, hanging from the bottom rung. He starts to climb up, but the Doctor takes his sonic screwdriver out of his jacket pocket and drops it smoothly into Pete's upheld, outstretched hand. Calling his dead wife's name, Pete cuts the rope ladder -- it takes like a million years, so maybe this is not the best setting for rope ladder cutting -- and then Lumic falls in slow motion down to the fire, and he screams like this: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Sigh. The survivors climb up the ladder as the zeppelin takes them away.
