Hiding in Plain Sight

Cut back in time to the old-guy-Dr.-Saunders treating Whiskey, who plaintively offers that she tries to be her best. Adelle is wearing her most flattering hairdo I've seen to date -- long and loose around her shoulders, which makes her face look less severe. The hair of course could be fake, but she should still think about keeping it. After a word to Dr. Saunders, who I don't think is the same actor as the one Alpha offed but is probably meant to be the same character, LAURENCE DOMINIC (I'm not that surprised to see him anymore, just psyched) informs her a substantial portion of the upstairs building's security footage was deleted three months prior, and after he applied some NSA interrogation techniques (he doesn't quite say that, but his meaning is clear) to the hapless security officer, he learned that he let a woman into Adelle's office. He goes on that he already had her assistant inventory her files, although you'd think the two she was KEEPING IN HER DESK FOR SOME REASON might have been missed earlier, but after Adelle lets us know that "the rumor is" the "man at the top" of Rossum hand-picked Bennett, the kicker is that Laurence has learned that.

Caroline is rooming with Bennett at Tucson Tech. I'll just ignore the fact that it seems awfully quick for Caroline and Bennett to have arranged living together in dorm housing when they presumably had other situations only three months ago in favor of telling you that Adelle says they need to get there posthaste...

...but she won't get there as quickly as we do, as we cut to the dorm room in question. Caroline arrives to find Bennett sitting rather rigidly on her bed, but doesn't seem to notice as she tells "Benster" she's home early. Bennett says they were doing routine maintenance at the lab, and Caroline compliments her on borrowing a brand of clothing I will not mention, so obvious is the product placement, but let's just say I find it interesting that Caroline's tastes are so similar to that of a total white-trash psychotic dipstick. Anyway, Caroline finally picks up on Bennett's mood, and Bennett produces her file, saying she found it when she went into Caroline's closet to borrow the outfit. Caroline at least doesn't dissemble further, saying the file came from Rossum, and she took it because she saw Bennett was valuable to them. She adds that she wants to take them down because of the horrors they're perpetuating, but I have to wonder how exactly Bennett figured into her original plan. I mean, she can't really have counted on her cooperation, right? Nonetheless, the power of bi-curiousness runs deep, as Bennett totally wants to help Caroline take Rossum down. Let me guess: No paid vacation? Caroline asks Bennett if she'd like to blow up a building, which I'll admit makes her self-granted "terrorist" label quite a bit more valid.
