Like Christmas In… December?

When we return, Priya smartly asks if Victor is still in there, and calls his name even as Anthony tries to tell her not to confuse "us." Priya urgently tells him that Victor would never forget her, and Anthony looks like his resolve is weakening even before Echo returns from dispensing with the best Scytheon has to offer and orders him to lower his weapon. We hear the voices in Anthony's head as he tells them they don't want him to remember -- they want him to kill her. After several more long, tense moments, though, he drops the cartridge out of his rifle and says he remembers. Echo, not quite ready to follow suit yet, asks him if he's in control, and he struggles to get the words out as he says that Priya being there helps him to remember. He then tells her the people he's linked to are not at all pleased with this little development, and Echo doesn't waste any time: "What's the fastest way out of here?" Electrical conduits to service tunnel to utility hatch is the prescribed route, but Echo follows a declaration that that's the option they'll take by sucker-clocking Anthony in the face, knocking him out. It's fun to think the other people in his unit felt that as well. Echo explains to a clueless Priya that she used Anthony's connection to the other minds to send them in the wrong direction. She then tells her she intends to find a way to change their programming, and leaves Priya a large gun with which to defend their position should it become necessary. Priya kind of adorably tries to get comfortable holding the thing and fails miserably. Heh.

Adelle is awoken by her phone ringing, and after hilariously checking her cottonmouth and bellowing for her conveniently absent assistant, she answers and snaps to, for although we don't get to hear his lovely voice, it's apparently Keith Carradine, who informs her about the Actives infiltrating the Rossum training facility. After she assures him that she'll have them recalled immediately, she staggers toward the door, shakily putting on one shoe as she goes, and they're going to the boozebag humor more than I would have expected but I'm not exactly complaining here.

Anthony comes to and assures Priya that he's in control, and moreover, his link to the others can be used against them. To demonstrate, we catch a visual from his mind of several soldiers about to attack them, so he anticipates the move and shoots at them. After they all take cover, Anthony rattles off their position and plan before brightly introducing himself and saying Priya can call him Tony. Aw. Priya suggests they skip the small talk for now, but Tony promises it's serving a purpose, as the more he can remember about himself, the easier it is to keep the other minds at bay. As the enemy soldiers decide to advance on their position, they run off...
