...and then Victor's out in the street, looking shellshocked at what he just did as he sinks to his knees. We get some more shots of Echo desperately working on Sierra, and then a bunch of the locals converge on Victor before the camera tilts up away from the carnage...

...and then we cut to a tight shot of Echo saying they got the information they went for, and maybe even more. The camera pans around to reveal... that she's talking to Adelle. Yes, that shot of Topher and Ivy talking on the balcony last week covered the fact that after Adelle informed Echo she was going to the Attic, she leaned in and revealed her true plan -- she told her the Attic was where Rossum was keeping its darkest and most rabidly-guarded secrets, and she needed Echo to go and get them for her. All while giving herself and everyone around her plausible deniability were she to fail. In fact, it seems likely that she surreptitiously encouraged the conspiracy against her so that everyone would be aligned against Rossum when she revealed the true plan. Awesome. Echo pointed out that no one had ever returned from the Attic, but Adelle simply responded, "Nobody else is you..."

...and then we're back in Adelle's office, wherein Echo is asking about everyone else. The camera pans back to show the full conspiracy is assembled -- Topher, Ivy, Ballard, Boyd, Priya, Tony, and Echo. Adelle walks to better face all of them as she saucily opines she's impressed on all of them the dangers they'll be facing, and then theatrically turns to face them all: "We're ready." Not about to let anyone steal the limelight from her, though, Echo demurs, saying they're one soldier shy. "It's time for me to meet Caroline. It's time to win her war." And I never thought I'd say this, but I agree. We'll finish this out in January, and I can tell you from the previews that it will be bloody and action-packed, and will feature reappearances by Claire, Bennett, and -- wait for it -- Laurence Dominic. See you then!
