No judges' comments for this round, I guess. John will be singing "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. I am not a huge country fan but once in a while a super corny one just gets me, and this is one of them. God, John has such a bad case of gay face. I can't believe he's married to a lady. Also, he needs to cut back on the bronzer because you can see the makeup line at his hairline and his natural skin color is normal, so I don't know why he's made up to be so tan. John is a little flat on the last note, too. What is with him tonight? Anyway, I love that song. I didn't love that performance.

Jason is singing "Runaway Baby" by Bruno Mars. Jason still needs to learn to articulate his words better. And this is a fun, fast song and he's strolling around like it's a ballad. He still seems really self-conscious on stage too. He sounds pretty good though, even when he's running around the stage. His moves looks studied like someone told him, "Lift your arm here and then the other arm," and he's doing it by rote instead of what J Rome does, which is to just dance and listen to the music.

Oh, judges' comments now. Robin thought John sang the best but Jason brought the house down. I wasn't feeling the connection. John loved Jason's song choice and thinks that's the type of song he should be singing. When Quddus puts him on the spot, John says that he would sign J Rome out of the three. Jennifer feels like a stage mom, and says she was singing along with all of the songs. Kelly admits that she wants Jason to win, but John sang great and J Rome is incredibly impressive.

So now America votes and next week, we find out who gets a recording contract. Hmm. I don't think it will be John but I kind of hope Jason wins because J Rome is going to get a contract anyway, right? Someone is going to sign him.
