John says that it was sung well, but he wants Jason to stop using Kelly as a crutch and connect with the audience more. Robin (who put a grown-up shirt on at some point) says that it was a big difference from last week, and he thought Jason really exploded when he stepped out on his own and he needs to do that more often. Jennifer agrees with the critiques so far, and she advises Jason to open up his upper body because it's too tight. Kelly agrees that Jason doesn't even know how sexy he is. The scores are revealed, and Jason is in second-to-last. Seriously? Why does everyone hate Kelly's partners? I thought they both should have been higher.
J Rome was at the top of the list last week and Jennifer has him singing "You're The One That I Want" this week. Ooh, Jennifer. I'm starting to question her taste level. This will not show off his voice AT ALL. What is the point? And also, did J Rome have that Aaron Neville face mole last week? How did I miss that? Anyway, they start the performance and they're in full-on Grease drag. I think Jennifer just wanted to wear the Bad Sandy outfit, but she's added weird green sparkly fringe and what the fuck am I watching here? And there are backup dancers? No one else got back-up dancers. And they're doing choreography. I can't decide if this is the worst thing I've ever seen or if it's kind of awesome in being over the top. The vocals are good at least, and I know now that J Rome can move, but I don't know any more about his range or anything. What in the hell was that?
