Henry stares morosely at his brother in the trauma room, whispering that he'll be okay. Susan enters and tells him and Paula that the CT showed some good signs, but that only time will tell how complete Adam's recovery will be. She then privately tells Paula that a social worker will be coming down to speak with her. Paula's surprised, because she's either stupid or she's sobered up since their last conversation. "I don't need to talk to a social worker," hisses Paula, panicking. "It doesn't help." Susan catches this slip and gapes. "Has this happened before...Are you in [the] database?" she asks, disbelieving. Paula tries to brush it off like it was nothing. Susan's not so easily duped, especially because Paula's standing in front of her basically sucking on her own pinky toes.
