ER. Finch whines to Benton that nobody got her when Mrs. Howard died. Benton says there wasn't time, and that she arrested almost immediately. Finch says that Mrs. Howard wasn't that agitated when Finch went upstairs, and asks what Mrs. Howard could have possibly wanted with a gun. Benton says that she didn't want anything with the gun, and that she was altered. Yosh hurries over and says that Kenny is still waiting for his sutures. Finch enters Laura's trauma room (remember her? Fire hydrant? Had to go the long way around into the trauma room?) with films, which she throws up on a light box. Laura is trying to get out of bed, but Mark tells her that she can't go anywhere, because she was unconscious. Laura insists that she has to get to her gynecologist's: "They have to harvest my eggs by six o'clock!" Mark asks whether she's on fertility drugs. Laura babbles, "I had ten days of FSH injections and yesterday they gave me beta HCG. Look, I'm ovulating now. There's only a two-hour window to retrieve the eggs." Mark gently tells her he doesn't think that'll be possible now. Laura asks whether she damaged her ovaries. Finch calls out that the head CT looks normal. Mark tells Laura, "We think you may have had a small blood clot in your brain that caused you to pass out and crash your car." "But I'm okay now," babbles Laura. Mark tells her that they need to give her blood thinners so that she doesn't have more clotting. Laura says that she'll go to the clinic and come right back to County. Mark tells her that she needs Heparin now, which means that she can't have an invasive procedure. Laura, getting more agitated, says that they can do whatever they want when she comes back, but that they have to harvest her eggs. Finch breaks the stalemate by suggesting that they call Laura's gynecologist and see if she can do the procedure at County.
