In Trauma Green, Abby has apparently decided to help Howard with Luka's patient. She needs a new IV. Howard is working methodically and mechanically, repeating steps to himself as if reading a manual. Abby watches him do this with growing unease. "You got this, Howard?" she asks as he checks the bulb in the larynoscope three times, exactly the same way.

The nurses fawn over Cosmo. "I can't believe how big he is," one of them says, so that Susan can claim he eats a lot to cover up the fact that her child is way too massive to be believed. Chuck dashes in and scolds her for keeping him waiting because he was parked in a red zone. Then he snatches Cosmo away from everyone and frets about all the germs around the hospital. "Chuuuuuck," Susan laughs. "It's good for his immunity!" Everyone cracks up at that crazy Chuck.

Penny comes up and confesses to Carter that she called for a consult, but shouldn't have. Before she can explain herself, the surgeon in question comes over and reprimands Carter for his stupid student. I guess that's going to go somewhere in the future...who knows. I'm sort of bored with the "med students are dumb" stuff, especially when the far dumber Malarkey is still lurking.
