Carter walks up to the desk behind Happy Gilmore's Grandma. She didn't die. Whatever. Speaking of people who won't be dying for a while, Rena shows up. She says she was looking for him and asks whether he's off soon. He indicates a pile of charts in his arms and says he has a couple of hours' worth of chores to finish up. She asks whether he can do it over garlic noodles. Um. You've already had two dates in two days. Ease up on the throttle, there, Needy McClurg. Carter quietly says that he can't. She tries to jolly him along by saying that she'll get takeout and a bottle of wine; he says that he doesn't drink, and that it's illegal for her to purchase alcohol. Burn! She can't believe he's coming back to the age thing again. Carter says he likes her a lot, and she concludes, "You wish I was older." He doesn't deny it. She says she guesses she should enjoy this while it lasts. He says he's sorry, but she tells him it's okay: "I'm young. We heal fast." Oh, WHATEVER. She says that she'll see him around, and books.
Weaver crutches into a conference room where Romano, Donald "Tubby McFats" Anspaugh, and Mitchell are all waiting for her. Anspaugh and Romano are seated next to each other at the table; Weaver and Mitchell both stand. Romano delivers a brief opening smarm before cutting to the chase: he summarizes the situation by saying that Mitchell recently had a momentary lapse in judgment.
