Shane tries to pass off some patients to Neela so that he can leave and make a gig. Neela ain't having it. Shane points out that he treated ten patients in the last hour, and Neela agrees to help him out as long as he cleans the bathroom this week.

Shane runs outside and tries to grab a taxi, but can't find one. He wanders down the street and spots Eugene standing in front of a store window, watching television. Shane walks over and asks Eugene what he's doing. Eugene doesn't answer. Shane offers him El fare, and then says that his mom will worry. Eugene says that his mom is still at work. Shane tells Eugene to go home now, because they aren't going to admit him or give him more drugs. Eugene says he can't go home. Shane asks why not, and Eugene says his mom's boyfriend will be there. Shane doesn't get it and asks if they don't get along. Eugene says, "He just does stuff." Shane's face changes and he asks, "Stuff like what?" Eugene looks at Shane like, "What do you think, whitey? Nice eyeliner, by the way."
