After the commercial, General Mansfield takes Eva's side via satellite. Good to see you again, Mansfield. Peace out! You still got more airtime than Henry did. Allison calls Jack, who's in the car with Zoe, and tells him they can't stop the fighter jets. Jack says they'll have to shut down the EM shield before the fighters arrive to show Martha that they trust her. Allison says that won't help when the fighters come and attack. Stark finally makes himself useful and comes up with a plan of his own, saying that Eva thinks they're all incompetent, so maybe it's time to prove her right. I think they already kind of have, actually, what with the drone escaping twice and all.

For some reason, Eva the corporate rebuilder is now in charge of issuing orders to the fighter jets as they rush towards Eureka. She's so wrapped up in her moment of supreme power that she doesn't notice Fargo "accidentally" lowering the EM shield. He says he must have pushed the wrong button. Whoopsy! Eva doesn't care, as her fighters are close enough to take out the drones. She orders them to shoot them down, but the communication suddenly goes all funky. Perhaps the fighters are flying through a tunnel. Or maybe it has something to do with Zane's appearance behind Eva with a smirk on his face. "Somebody must've hijacked the signal," he guesses, while Stark puts on his most innocent face, which is difficult with the beard. Beards do make people look sinister. Stark now has control over the signal, and he orders the fighters not to fire on the drones unless they are fired upon first. Eva says he's making a big mistake. "No," Stark simply responds. Allison tells Jack that they've done all they can, so he'd better come through on his end.
