Jack and Allison roll up to Edison's house. Jack stops the car and sighs, so Allison tells him to get it off his chest. He says he doesn't know how she can even consider marrying Stark again. "Maybe I still love him," Allison says. "Maybe?" You might want to make sure before you commit to anything again, Allison. Jack spits back that Stark loves himself as he exits the car angrily. I don't know how Allison can consider marrying Stark with that beard. It looks good, but beards are not fun to kiss. Allison and Jack stand at Edison's front door, which is answered by Mena, a bottle of champagne and two glasses in hand. Bummer -- looks like someone's going to have to go without a glass of champagne. I nominate Allison. Mena says the champagne is actually meant for her and Edison, who she expects home at any moment. She then asks if something's wrong. Because the town sheriff and your husband's boss normally show up unannounced for good reasons, like surprise parties. Mena must have been a crap lab partner with deductive reasoning skills like that. Edison pulls up, sees his guests, and swallows guiltily.
