Edison, Jack, and Allison head into Edison's huge farm-like backyard complete with hay bales and a large barn as Edison says that after the many years of work both he and his wife put into making drones, he didn't have the heart to tell her what happened during the test run today. The barn actually houses Edison's home lab, and he says that he doesn't know where Martha is, but that if she wanted to harm Jack he'd be dead right now. What a pleasant thought. As for the invisibility, Edison says he didn't program Martha to do that, so she must have figured out how to do it all by herself. He's very proud of her, and she's actually within earshot to pick up all of this since she's in the barn, invisible and watching. She also hears Edison say that cloaking drains Martha's power cells. Which means she'll need to find a way to recharge soon. I'm guessing she doesn't run on D batteries, either.
With that, Stark marches in with a team of DoD people and orders them to confiscate everything in the barn. Jack objects, pointing out that this is evidence in an active police investigation, but Stark wants to really impress Allison and/or Eva, so he says Jack already had his chance and failed, so now it's up to Stark and GD to fix their own mistake. Edison begs them not to take away his work, which is all he has (hope Mena didn't hear that), but Eva steps forward and says this belongs to GD now that Martha is a liability. "You're done," Stark tells Edison as Mena rushes up to console him. That champagne will probably be more useful now than it was when it was for celebrating. Some drink to remember, some drink to forget (that his experiment is terrorizing the town). Still hidden away, Martha focuses her sights on Eva, who is being lead away by Larry for a lunch date at Café Diem.
Jack and Jo walk into GD. Jack wonders how anyone could be attracted to a pompous jerk like Stark. Jo reminds him that Stark is powerful, successful, and handsome. I'm not sure who appreciated hearing that more: Jack or Zane. Or Stark, since he probably heard it since neither Jo nor Jack really bothered to whisper. Zane rejects Edison's theory that a photon blast from Viper could have boosted Martha's abilities, but agrees that her power levels will be running low by now. Zane says she'll need nothing less than a fusion reactor to recharge her batteries, and GD's security is too high for her to be able to use theirs. That's when Jack remembers that there's another fusion reactor at Café Diem.
