Lexi runs into Duncan in a GD hallway. He wants to talk, but Lexi is still being a weirdo about this and says there's nothing left to say. How about "I'm suing for joint custody?" He could say that. Apply some mineral mask to your back and grow a spine, Duncan. Lexi says that there are plenty of people in the world for Duncan to save, and she's not one of them. What about her kids, who studies have shown will be better off if they grow up with two parents? (Not like they're doomed if they're raised by a single mother or anything, of course. Unless that single mother is Lexi.) She leaves for her yoga class with tears in her eyes, but I don't feel sorry for her at all.
Henry, Carter, and Tess wander around Section 5. There are security guards standing at attention at the elevator entrance, but I'm sure they'll find Duncan, Lexi, Vince and my mom all sitting in the lab waiting for them anyway. Carter wants to use Glowbidium as Spot bait, but Tess needs all the stuff she can get and would rather have her secret project up and running than save the lives of any radioactive researchers. Moreover, she doesn't have much faith that they'll be able to capture Spot if they do lure him, which is actually not unreasonable, since all Carter and Henry have to trap Spot with is a small metal tin that Spot already escaped from once. With that, they enter the lab, only to find all the Glowbidium gone. Whoops! Way to protect your special supply there, Tess. Also, way to have the super-secret Section 5 easily reachable from the rest of GD and presumably Eureka itself through the pipes. While Tess wonders where her Glowbidium went (duh, Tess) Carter looks up and sees a giant Spot on the ceiling. Spot sees them, too, so the three run out of the lab and close the door just as he pounces. Spot runs into the closed door and makes a dent. Why would he go after them, though? They aren't full of gamma radiation, are they? [Well, apparently all humans are full of residual radiation, and they have been hanging around gamma-irradiated types all day. - Z] Carter says they'll need a bigger metal tin, and we go to a commercial before Tess can make fun of him for stating the obvious.
