At the lab, Dr, Manly is saying that he's been over the numbers and there was no malfunction. Tess informs Henry that NewKim's structure is changing... for the worse. She's decaying, and they aren't sure why. Dr. Manly has to find another way to download the data, or all the valuable info stored inside NewKim's cellular structure will be lost forever. Just in case Henry didn't understand it, Tess repeats the obvious, that since NewKim is the data... she'll be gone. I think he's smart enough to get that.

Fargo shows Carter some samples of the water: they're both filled with synthetic water. Carter looks perplexed, but Dr. Rivers makes it in her lab. She meets with Carter on a platform in front of a bunch of rushing waterfalls. Carter doesn't understand why there's a need for this pure water, since regular water is fine. Fine is not perfect. Did he learn nothing from the baby shower? Dr. Rivers says that her water is entirely safe, and not capable of killing anyone. It's used throughout Eureka and recycled back to her lab. He doesn't find that reassuring. He sits and does the potty dance like a little kid, while she chuckles at him.

SARAH then wonders if the sheriff is OK, since he's been going to the bathroom a lot. He's also got high-blood pressure and now his pants are too tight. She's found no traces of synthetic water in any of the food or drink from the party, but he asks her to recheck the one for the mimosas. He thinks there might be something to the self-cleaning bottles. Like maybe the 100 percent of the liquids is being released into the bodies... and he thinks he might be the next victim. He passes out on the floor.

Then he's in a hospital room, with Allison and Fargo looking over him. He worries that Fargo is going to be doing his autopsy. He's not drowning, just bloated, because he's having a sympathy pregnancy with Allison. Fargo and Allison can barely tell him without laughing. They explain that syn water can't enter the body through contact, just by entering the actual bloodstream. Carter gets a call from Jo. There's another dead body. He wants everyone at the party tested for syn water.
