Carter runs over to Allison and asks her for the name of GD's leading tree gene expert. Why is he even investigating this? If that town fired me and replaced me with a robot, I'd be like "screw you guys and die. I'm off to Los Angeles and the DHS!" You know, like Jo has apparently done. But I guess that's why I'm not a cop and Carter is, because I hate people. Allison cruelly says GD does have a tree scientist, but she can't tell him who it is since he no longer has the security clearance. And she apparently has some faith in Sheriff Andy's skills now, so if he says the trees falling was natural, then she believes him. Traitor! Where is her loyalty? Oh, what am I even saying? She isn't even loyal to her own son, wherever he is. Carter convinces Allison that it's for the good of the town that he investigate the matter, and she gives him the name of one Dr. Leonardo and the address of her lab. With a cute eye-roll that reminds us why her and Carter's relationship was once so appealing, she walks away.
