Abbott House. Patch and Bright come in just as Rose is getting Lily to sleep. Bright is all loud and excited, and tells his mom that those Jews really know how to party. "Although, technically, I think there were only about four there." Ha! Patch says Lily looks ready for sleep, and Rose happily takes her upstairs to bed. Patch tells Bright he's welcome to stay, but he'll have to sleep elsewhere since Hannah's in his old room. Bright: "It's okay. I knew you guys would eventually trade me in for her." He says he'll go home, so it won't be awkward in the morning or anything, then asks Patch when he thinks Lily's mother will come back. Patch says he hopes it's soon, and Bright says he does too, since Rose seems to be getting so attached to her. "Any longer and giving up that baby's not going to be so easy for her." Look at our Bright, so wise in his old age! Patch says they're going to find Cathy, and Bright shoots back, "What if you don't? What if she doesn't want to be found? What are you going to do then?" Patch says he has no idea, but I think we all know he does.
Fairgrounds. Hannah guides an unsteady Amy out to the parking lot. Amy is glad she's not puking. Hannah says that's why they're walking slowly. "And why you're going to remember to turn away from me when you do." Oh, Hannah. You know you're the kind of person who will hold back the hair of a puking friend. Amy asks Hannah how she manages to be such a well-behaved lady all the time, then stops and turns to face Hannah. "I was wrong. You were wrong. We were both horribly horribly wrong. About Ephram. I'm still in love with him." And with the Ferris wheel in the background (make a note, kids), Amy stumbles away.
