Amy is lying on her bed with cucumber slices over her eyes -- which I'm pretty sure doesn't cure a hangover nearly as well as a cheeseburger, fries, and two Diet Cokes (this is a patented recipe, my friends. Use it well.) -- and telling Hannah that if she'd realized she was still in love with Ephram a month ago, all of this would have been a lot less tricky. Hannah agrees that the whole girlfriend situation is a minefield. Amy sits up abruptly, sending the cucumber flying, and says, "But I still have to tell him, right? I mean, you saw that dance. That was hot. There was HEAT there." Hannah: "That will not die." Hee. Amy says exactly, and it certainly wasn't that hot with him and "the other one." Hannah: "Stephanie?" Amy: "Whatever." She asks how she proceeds. Hannah thinks she proceeds by telling him. Amy finds this unsatisfactory: a plan has prongs, usually three prongs, just like on Law & Order. Hannah says yeah, but she didn't kill anybody and hide the body from Sam Waterston. Amy is worried that Ephram will think it's an act of jealousy if she just waltzes on over there and confesses her feelings. Hannah says he won't, because it's not, right? She's sure, right? Amy says yes -- he makes her feel safe, and happy, and makes her laugh, and is there when she cries. Hannah is clearly moved, and tells her to say just that. Amy: "Could work."
