this to his attention.

Downstairs, Nina's sitting at the table with Delia and Sam when Treat takes her by the hand and commands Treatily, "Come with me. I want to ask you something." He takes her outside and into her front yard next door. Nina says she's not wearing any shoes, and Treat says it doesn't matter, because she's not going to need him. He gets her in position and starts, "This is where we met." He can hardly go on, though, because construction workers are drilling and sawing and banging away on Nina's house. After politely asking them to shut the hell up, Treat resumes his speech. He reminds Nina that when they met, she was working in the yard in that exact spot, which he thought was odd because there was a foot of snow on the ground. Nina says she remembers. Treat says the next time he saw her, she invited him into her house, where they drank coffee and talked. "And I remember thinking when I left that it wasn't just a coincidence that I ended up buying that house. It was fate. Someone was trying to tell us something. You know how I feel about you, Nina. I'm in love with you. I have been for a long time. And I can't think of anyone else on earth that I would rather spend the rest of my life with, so..." He pulls the ring out of his pocket, saying he knows she's seen it already. Nina cries that she hasn't; she never looked. Treat says that makes this part more fun, then. He gets down on one knee and asks Nina to marry him. She says yes, and I don't care that it's totally retarded. It is AWESOME, and the ring is no slouch, either. They kiss. Woohoo!

Ephram is rushing out of his apartment while simultaneously leaving a voicemail for Stephergie that he's sorry he's late for the movie, but is on his way. When he walks outside, though, there's someone waiting for him. It's Amy Abbott, and she's set up the Thaw Fest Ferris Wheel in the street outside his house. He looks at her like she's crazy, and she tells him not to say anything yet. "I want to go first, and since I brought the Ferris wheel, I figured you'd let me." She steadies herself, then starts talking. "Four years ago, you came to my little town, and you changed my life. I never thought that one person could do that, but you did. From the moment I met you and each moment after that, somehow everything that happened to me kept coming back to you." She asks if the Ferris wheel reminds him of anything, and he's like, "Are you kidding me?" He remembers their first Thaw Fest, and how she told him her nickname was Grover. Amy can't believe he remembers that. Ephram: "I remember everything about us, Amy." Amy says she does too, and that's the thing -- every time she tries to forget the feelings she has for him, they keep coming back. "And I don't want to push them down anymore, or run away from this, because I never want to lose you again. I just want to be with you, next to you, wherever you are. And I'm sorry it took me so long to figure out, because I hate all the time that we lost. And I just really hope that you can forgive me. Because I love you, Ephram." And do you know what Ephram does next? HE KISSES HER. And it is perfect, and when they're done, Ephram says, "Is it my turn yet?" Amy nods yes. "Good," he says. "Because I love you, too. I knew it then, and I know it now. Always, you're it, Amy. You're my one. You always have been." He looks up at the Ferris wheel, and they both giggle a bit. She asks if he wants to go for a ride. "In a second," he says, and kisses her again. We pull back and pan up to a gorgeous view of the mountains over Everwood, and fade out. I am not ashamed to admit that I wept at this ending what should have been an embarrassing amount, telling my husband in between sobs how much I hate this stupid show. But really, I don't. I love this stupid show. It was my first recapping job (for which I'd like to thank Sars, even though she probably wishes she'd thought better of it after all the Kleenex she's had to pay for ["worth every penny, missy" -- Sars]), and I was all prepared to hate it. We all know how that turned out. So...

Damn you, Berlanti. And thank you. You too, Mimoun, and all the writers. Also, I want that Brooklyn jacket. And an interview for the site. And a million dollars.
