Meanwhile, Nina is upstairs in the bathroom. She glances over at a box filled with Dimples's toiletries, and idly picks up a medicine bottle. The look on her face tells us that it ain't filled with aspirin.
"Medical Center." Bright and Amy are having lunch with Hannah and Topher in the hospital cafeteria. Hannah offers Bright her pudding top. Aw! Brighton loves his pudding! Bright takes it enthusiastically, and comments, "Butterscotch. Interesting choice." Hannah is pleased with herself. Topher offers his vanilla top a little too eagerly, and flings pudding all over Hannah in the process. Bright gets this hilariously disgusted look on his face, all, "No thanks." Hannah asks Amy about the housing thing at Princeton. Amy says she has all the brochures, but hasn't looked at them. "It all just seems so..." "Totally," Topher agrees. This earns Topher another look from Bright, who gets up to get another drink. Amy follows him, and asks if he's okay, and if it's Mom. Bright answers quickly, "Yep. It's Mom." Amy's like, "It's not Mom, you're being weird." Bright insists that it's nothing, then says he feels the hospital guest list should be limited to family and best friends of family -- not boyfriends of best friends of family. Amy: "What, you don't like Topher?" Bright: "Shasta McSpastic? Uh...no." HEE. Amy says he's completely harmless. "Unless..." she finally gets, "do you like...?" Bright protests a little too much. Amy gets all excited. "You like Hannah!" Bright: "I will smother you with my bare ass cheeks if you say a word." Amy says Bright has to tell her. Bright says he can't; she has a boyfriend already. Amy's like, "Yeah, so?" Bright says Hannah's finally happy, and he can't mess that up. Amy can't believe this, and points out the irony in Bright's finally being a good enough person to deserve Hannah -- and now he can't have her. Bright gives her a look. "Or it's just sad. Really sad."
