It's possible, considering we next see Bella scaling a rock-climbing wall. She asks if their next date can involve food and/or drinks. He says that he gets together with co-workers once a week, and she's welcome to come, but it is loungy. She's thrilled at that prospect.

Back at her apartment she basically crawls through the door. She hears the shower running and tells Daphne she'd better not be having sex, because she needs to shower. Then she spots a lovely bouquet on the counter. It's got a card from Tommy, to thank her for taking care of Moo. Sweet, if a little redundant to send a girl who runs a flower shop flowers. Rufus is at the door, with Elliot. Moo's hiding under the couch, Elliot promptly retrieves him and shows off his sexy vet skills. Seriously, commitment-phobe or not, he's by far the hottest ex we've seen. And he comes with the cute dog. After he puts the cat in the bedroom, he asks if it is a bad time. She complains that he's early, but she's excited to see Rufus, even though she can't get up. He wants to know why the Band-Aids and bruises, but she tries to shove him out the door (by being rude, not physically, because she can't actually move off the couch). He wants to know if she's cool after the 4 AM run-in/blonde situation. Bella says that he's just supposed to drop off the dog and go. He gives her advice on fixing her boo-boos. Aw. Then he smiles again.

At the ultra-hip bar, Bella's ordering tequila, Jake says that's very Bella. She starts to have a conversation with him, when one of his friends walks over and asks if he's ready. It's trivia Olympics. He invited her because he thought she'd kick ass. Then he goes into ultra-competitive mode. A flower question comes up, they defer to Bella, she panics, but then gets it right. The whole office freaks out, in a good way. Later, it is double-overtime, and there's a bit of a break. Jake invites Bella out parasailing, but she's finally like, what the hell? Does he just want to be friends?
