They are back at the trivia bar. She's prepared this time. But then Jake walks up to his boss, Celeste, and says he thinks they see too much of each other, and then he quits his job. Bella and Celeste exchange perplexed/horrified glances. Bella chases after a gleeful Jake, but he barely even hears her. He feels so much better. Bella is miffed that he never told her the boss was the ex. She hit her in the head with a frisbee, and not even on purpose. Bella doesn't think he's over Celeste. Bella does that reverse psychology-like "What if she was dating someone?" thing, which sends Jake spiraling out of control. She brings it back to Elliot and says sometimes you face up to your issues.

At Bella's apartment, Daphne's bouncing around, as they discuss her split from Jake. They're going to be just friends. Bella won't settle for a guy that isn't perfect. Speaking of perfect, Elliot knocks on the door. He's got a vet emergency and needs her to watch Rufus. He apologizes for breaking the rules. And then hands her a brown paper bag, with the band-aids he recommended. Even Daphne aw's this time.

In the backyard, Augie's excited because now they can get back to picking on Tommy. Daphne and Marty are making out, they broke their pact. Cyrus went to his ex's (conveniently timed) book signing, and she wrote that it wasn't about him... and spelled his name wrong. How do you misspell Cyrus? That night, Bella's back at her list, crossing off Jake... there are still a lot of names. A whole season's worth, one would speculate. In her bedroom, Rufus and Moo are curled up together. Adorable.
