We got a brief break from The Moustaches winning all the time last episode, but it was just a tease. They finish first now that they're not dealing with an injury just before the finish line. They tell Salmoni they felt this was actually their best day, given all the obstacles they had to overcome. Team Gay Angst claims second place and they're so happy after their rough start with the rug challenge. As they come into the finish, Jeff tells his Somewhat Limited teammates he doesn't care how ugly it was, they're taking third place. Erik was psyched to just be done with this day, and really who could blame him? Salmoni calls Erik an action hero. "Super Blind," Jeff yells out. There's your show title, Erik! I'm telling you, America needs this! Akbar's Players skates in to finish fourth place. Akbar's given some time to reiterate to Salmoni it's very clear kayaks don't like him. Rednecks finish fifth with no fanfare. It's down to The S.W.A.T., Valley Girls and Finding Nino in that order. We head to commercial after the Valley Girls heads down the mountain to the final kayak stretch, passing Finding Nino who are still on their way up to the cave.

Commercials

From inside Goat Cave, Nino's screaming at Gus to get his ass up the mountain. They read their instructions and still feel they can catch up to S.W.A.T. and Valley Girls if they just stay slow and steady. They get back down to the kayaks and are held up yet again by Gus who has to stop because his shoe has come off. He and Nino go back and forth cursing each other. Nino says in TH they didn't doubt they'd catch one of the teams ahead of them. S.W.A.T. and Valley Girls are neck-and-neck in their kayak race, but that proves to be a problem when they sort of bottle neck at the kayak landing site. This gives Finding Nino plenty of time to catch up and land while the other two teams are trying to figure out how to get out of their kayaks and keep moving. In sort of an impromptu alliance, Cops Rob helps The Valley Girls out of their kayaks and they head to the finish line together, leaving Finding Nino behind. Salmoni appears to give S.W.A.T. sixth place simply because they were the team he'd have to make the least effort to point to. Knowing they've been beaten, Finding Nino drags across the finish. Nino tells Salmoni if the race had been 10 minutes longer, they would've caught up. To sort of distract from the awkwardness of the infighting, Salmoni asks if they've formed a stronger bond after going through this expedition together. Gus agrees they're stronger now despite arguments. Joe says he couldn't have asked any more out of Gus and Nino and he's very proud. They all have a big laugh at Salmoni saying they can go home now and get in a proper sized boat.
