Meanwhile, Country Boys are the first team to have problems. Chad is gassed and just gives out. He takes a seat in the sand and is totally going to puke. To add insult to injury, Latin Persuasion literally walks over Chad as he tries to catch his breath, complete with prissy "excuse me"s. TH with Raven of LP lets us in on the pleasure they took in passing them up. Nick of Country Boys does his best to try to talk Chad into getting up. We zoom in on Chad about to puke.

Back to Country Boys pep talk. After a little more drilling from his team, Chad gets up. TH for Chad credits his teammates for their encouragement. They get to the top of the dune and Chad's teammates tell him to look around. He made it to the top and he should be proud. Chad: "Well, y'all are some good friends, man." Completely genuine moment.

Gypsies, Fab 3 and Football Players are in a race for first place on camelback in 105 degree desert heat with No Limits gaining on them. They eventually pass everyone and rub it in to the camera that the other teams will be like, "Blind dude team -- they ain't playin'."

Grandpa's Warriors, Latin Persuasion, Mom's Army and Country Boys get to the camels around the same time. Country Boys are off and running, but LP appears to be having issues. Infighting sets in. Raven and Mai butt heads because Raven is trying to get Mai in gear and she's not taking well to it. Raven starts lecturing Mai about being disrespectful and threatens to quit if she continues speaking to her in a bitchy manner. TH for Raven throws Mai under the bus, calling her out for treating everything like a beauty pageant and pointing out she doesn't work well with others. The result of all of this is LP is in last place.

No Limits and Fab 3 make it to checkpoint 2 first. The first challenge involves "finding water the local way" and filling a jug of water for their camels. While this perplexes everyone, AJ of Fab 3 is rather quick to figure out they can just dig a hole in the sand to get the water they need. The only interesting thing this challenge yields is Akbar's TH where he admits he considered cutting open a camel's hump to get water. I want to know who stopped him from doing this and stopped us from getting good TV. Akbar further solidifies his boneheadedness for posterity by declaring there's no way you're going to get water digging in the sand in the Sahara Desert.
