Back at Todra's Mountain, Mom's Army is getting ready for the rappel. Abbie, eldest daughter, worries in TH about her mother taking on this challenge. Her mom certainly has trouble with it and Abbie struggles not to let her mother hear her cry as she encourages her.
Abbie's mom finally completes the challenge. Raven is preparing for her rappel and offers Abbie some kindness by complimenting her mom since Raven thinks her mother wouldn't have the resolve to do it. TH for Raven reveals she was worried about rappelling, but she has no problems when she considers Latin Persuasion can stay ahead of Grandpa's Warriors if she just presses forward.
No Limits reaches the "wrong way" sign. Blind Guy Erik's teammates are just like, "Uh... sorry Erik." Pff... don't accept that apology, Erik. If your eyes worked they would be better than 20/20 and we all know it.
Gypsies reach the finish line first. TH for John is about how great they felt coming in first. Gypsy Eric's TH is all about the team members contributing equally. Fab 3 gets there second, which leads to the quote of the episode from AJ: "Two gay dudes and a girl -- to come in second is just unbelievable. I don't think I've ever felt this proud. It's just -- it's indescribable." Through. Tears. Football Players come in third. Akbar's talks up the challenge of the first stage in TH, saying professional football players don't train for endurance like this. Um... I really want to know what football team isn't providing its players with muscular endurance and conditioning training. I really do. My high school football team even did that.
No Limits make it back to the snake show in time to catch up with Fishermen, California Girls, Team Kansas and Country Boys. Everyone agrees on 11 snakes. NY Firemen and Mom's Army follow shortly behind on the right track. Latin Persuasion is next and Raven is really nervous in her TH about her team's chances, but they're still ahead of Grandpa's Warriors. No Limits is the only team in the challenge to have not counted 11, but they did a good job of getting back on track.
