The remaining teams begin to roll in to the finish line as the sun sets. Team Kansas 4th. Fishermen, No Limits. Country Boys, NY Firemen, California Girls, Cops and Mom's Army in that order. It's down to Latin Persuasion and Grandpa's Warriors for the last spot as they race in the dark. Both teams can see the finish line and hear each other, but have no idea who is winning. Back to the race in the dark between LP and GW. Grandpa Dick speaks in TH of the dangers of the terrain in the dark and their determination to brave it because they aren't ready to go home. To their credit, LP appears to be working better as a team in the face of elimination, but Grandpa's Warriors make it to the finish line first. Salmoni finishes congratulating them as LP walks up. He breaks the news to them and they immediately start rationalizing why they lost. They're used to the city and they're proud of themselves for even trying. They're flown out by helicopter the next morning.

Team TH for LP. Raven does all the talking. "Being able to say that I rode a camel through the Sahara Desert and rappelled off a 30-story cliff in Africa -- nobody can say that." Well, not exactly, Raven. The 36 other people who did it before you can say that. Grandpa Dick's second TH in a row refers to LP as "the Latina girls" and it's kind of cute in the way you have to figure he probably was coached not to call them "the Mexicans." He says he realized -- watching them fly away in the helicopter -- it could've been his team. Really? In any case, he declares his team will need to work harder. Country Boys Chad says in TH: "It's not all about who's the strongest. It's not all about who's the fastest. It's more a mental thing. It's who wants to really win this thing." Word, Chad. Word.
