Now we get to meet the girl gang. The leader is Tough Blonde (or TB for short). The other members are Tangi Miller (a.k.a. Elena from Felicity) and Tatiana Ali (a.k.a. Ashley from Fresh Prince). They check out their loot. Tatiana reveals that the paper said the jewels were worth $460,000, and they celebrate their newfound wealth. TB says that they can't spend any of the money until things cool down. Elena says that she needs the money to put her son in school; TB relents and says she can do that, but that they can't spend anything else. Tatiana says that they need to turn the diamonds into cash.
Van and Deaqon meet up with Tubby in a diner. Yeah, I know the character is actually called Aquarius, but that's a dumb name, so I'm sticking with Tubby. Of course, Tubby has a table full of food in front of him, because fat people just eat all the time. Despite that, Tubby looks like he's lost a good deal of weight since the pilot was filmed. I thought it was another actor at first. Tubby isn't happy to see Deaqon because his tarot cards told him that a friend would be bringing bad news. Deaqon says he might just be there to hang out, but Tubby says he wouldn't have brought his "little white friend" if that were the case. Van introduces himself, and they take a seat. Deaqon says that they're looking for three thieves who drive tricked-out motorcycles. Tubby has some information, but it turns out that he just read an article in the paper. Deaqon reveals that the bikers are female. Should two undercover cops really be spilling all of their information in public like this? Deaqon comments on the amount of food Tubby's ordered, and asks about his diet. Tubby says that he's doing "the Atkins thing" now, and that he's lost eighty-six pounds. Van brings it back to the criminals. Tubby says that he might know something, and wants to know what's in it for him. He wants a partner of his named Tony Hornsbury released from prison, because he was framed. Deaqon says that it's a done deal. Van whispers to ask if they can do that, and Deaqon whispers back that he doesn't know. Tubby says that the gang leader is a blonde named Jade who works as a mechanic making custom motorcycles. Deaqon asks Tubby to put word out that Deaqon and Van are high-end fences; Tubby agrees. Van and Deaqon stand up to leave. Tubby warns them that Jade is "hot to death," but that she killed her ex-boyfriend, so they should stay away. Van and Deaqon thank him and leave. Tubby yells after them not to yell out his name when they walk in the door, so Deaqon yells out his name as they walk out.
