Jason and Derek hear the shattering marble and head back to investigate, but not before Derek can make fun of Jason's belief that XT is alive. Whatever, Derek. You don't see Jason making fun of all your cockamamie beliefs about your dead twin brother. You'd think Derek, of all people, would be a little more inclined to believe in the not-so-much-dead. Back at the final resting place, Jay and Non-Silent Bob slide out the coffin and pry it open. They exchange "Dude!"s and high-fives over the contents, to which we are not yet privy. Non-Silent Bob claims that the contents will solve the XT mystery, and Jay tells him to "get the camera," and stops just short of adding "snootchie bootchies!" Derek and Jason head back to investigate the noise, just as Non-Silent Bob snaps a Polaroid picture. Something happens when the flash goes off, and both teens fall backwards, screaming. Derek and Jason hear the screams and start running. As they arrive on the scene, Derek-cam zooms in on the (now?) empty coffin. Non-Silent Bob yells out that "he got up and he looked at us, and he walked." Derek listens, and then focuses on something off-camera. Ethan Embry does his patented "deer-in-headlights-with-mouth-wide-open" stare, and then we see what he was looking at: the Polaroid Non-Silent Bob took moments ago. It's very blurry, but looks like XT getting up out of the coffin. Maybe. Or it could be a boat on a lake. Like I said, it's pretty blurry. If I had to wager, I would go with the first one, though. Derek smiles. Credits. The opening credits have expanded quite a bit. They're like a minute long, instead of thirty seconds.
Back at Freakylinks HQ, Derek tries to convince Chloe that the picture is of XT. Chloe wants to talk about Lan, saying that Derek is a "big-hearted guy" and that Lan might be confused about his feelings for her. Derek says that he's "a hugger." Chloe doesn't want Derek to hurt Lan's feelings. Derek, as usual, doesn't want to talk about it, and changes the subject to their investigation. The writers don't realize that this subplot is all the viewers really care about. Chloe has some weirdness going on around the eyebrow area. It's like she went out and got a tan, and then got her eyebrows waxed, so there are white patches of skin all around her eyebrows. I'm just saying. Anyway, Chloe allows that XT's coffin is empty, so it could be that he was never in it at all, or it could be that he is a zombie. Lan and Jason arrive, as Lan offers up that it could have been "grave robbers," and that the whole thing is a publicity stunt to hype XT's latest CD. Chloe sums up, "Not dead, stolen dead, walking dead -- take your pick." Derek chooses "walking," Lan chooses "dead," which wasn't even a choice, and Jason chooses "not." Chloe says she's still gathering information. Derek brings up a party that Alejandro Wexler, "the president of XT's record label," is throwing tonight. Lan "hacked the guest list" (and why would the guest list be online?) and now "Ice Pick plus three" appears on it. Jason claims that they will be "big pimpin'" and Derek "dances." Oh, for crying out loud.
