Cut to Chloe hopping around her hospital room, telling Jason and Lan that it was "an effigy, like a voodoo doll made to represent the real thing." She explains that it's lifesize and made to look like XT. The real XT was "symbolically killed" on top of the symbol on the floor at the video shoot, which would shift the curse off the real XT and onto the wax XT. Then, the wax XT was buried (or put in the wall), and the curse was buried too. Until Jay and Non-Silent Bob let it out of the casket, and now it's killing again. It's all so simple when she puts it that way.

In the warehouse, Derek wonders if they know who put the curse out there. They don't. Derek wonders how they all met, and XT says that Wexler hooked them up, like duh! Staselina explains what Chloe just said to Derek. Joy points out that they could have cremated the effigy, but Staselina says that would have released the curse. Plus, if it's made of wax and they lit it on fire, wouldn't it just burn like a candle? Imagine a life-sized candle. Talk about your eternal flames. Derek asks the important question -- how they stop the effigy from killing again. Staselina busts out with a piece of canvas with the Blair Witch symbol on it. Well, almost.

Jason pushes Chloe out of the hospital in a wheelchair as she explains that they need a "doom circle," and then proceeds to describe the thing Staselina was just brandishing. Apparently, all you need to do is hold this up to the cursed object, and the curse is neutralized. And Staselina couldn't have done this before they buried the effigy?

Derek tells everyone that they're in trouble as everyone gives him the eyes like, "Dude, there's a giant wax effigy behind you," but for some reason Derek can't read it. Staselina runs up to the effigy with the doom circle, but it knocks her halfway to Tucson. The effigy looks more like The Worm from Friday than XT. Derek tells XT and Joy to run, as he starts throwing pipes and stuff at the effigy to stall it. They all run away, with the effigy close behind. The effigy starts causing things to fall from the ceiling toward XT and Joy, nearly missing them many times. Derek just keeps yelling, "Go!" at them, like what do you think they're doing? Stopping off for a bite to eat? Joy stumbles and her legs are pinned under a falling metal beam. XT tries to pull the beam off her. Derek tries to distract the effigy by swinging at it with a pipe. It's made of wax. Couldn't he just stick the pipe right into its chest and impale it or something? I'm thinking of those wax soda bottles filled with sugar water here -- they're not that difficult to smash. Anyway, they fight and the effigy is surprisingly solid, considering he's made of wax. Where did they get all that wax, anyway? Finally, Derek knocks the effigy down and draws the symbol from the doom circle on the ground in some convenient ash or gravel. The effigy gets up and Derek lures it onto the symbol, which causes the effigy to go up in flames. But he's made of wax? Wouldn't he just burn like a candle? I hate this show.
